How to enable your Zune device to act as a hard drive and be visible in Explorer.
1. Disconnect the Zune and close out of any Zune software
2. Click Start > Run,
type REGEDIT and click OK.
3. Click once on HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE.
4. Click Edit > Find…
5. Type EnableLegacySupport in the Find what box and click Find Next.
6. It should find the EnableLegacySupport value, double-click on it and set the Value data to 1 and click OK.
7. Double-click PortableDeviceNameSpaceExcludeFromShell, set the Value data to 0 and click OK.
8. Double-click ShowInShell, set the Value data to 1 and click OK.
9. Close the Registry Editor.
10. Plug in the Zune and launch the Zune software. Your Zune should then be listed as a hard drive under My Computer.
